Poly Pineapple
How did we become

Hi, I'm Jessica. Thanks for checking out Poly Pineapple! I hope you enjoy it! In 2018 my husband and I were discussing all of the different types of ethical nonmonogamy and how so many people in the community fall into multiple "categories" under the ENM umbrella. Many parties felt exclusive to swingers, or exclusive to polyamory, and we wanted to find a way to bridge that gap. Wouldn't it be nice if we had a symbol that could tell people "hey, I'm ENM!"? Because, even when the goal is to make friends, it's always nice getting to know like minded people! Jay quickly got to work designing that symbol. He chose a pineapple (rumored to be a swinger symbol), along with a heart and infinity sign, which often represent polyamory. We liked how Poly Pineapple rolled off of our tongues. Then that was it for a few months. Until I saw an ad for a print on demand shop. Cool...by the end of the day I surprised Jay..."hey, we have T-shirts for sale with your design on them!". A few days later we stopped in to see friends at Mas Tequila on The Landing in St. Louis for dinner, decided to check out their stage in the back...and somehow in what seemed like a split second we had a social media page and over 100 guests showing up to our first event! Even before we knew exactly what we wanted Poly Pineapple to become, somethings were already etched in stone for us. Our space would always be based in acceptance and our biggest goal would be to ensure that everyone in the ENM community felt welcome regardless of race, gender, orientation, age, or virtually any other box into which society wants to shove humans. That is something that we strive to stand behind in everything that we do. Poly Pineapple is a place for the ENM community to love, learn, grow, and just be their authentic selves. We have been so gracious to our many friends, our community, and the businesses that have supported us over the years! And thank you again, dear reader, for your support. This website is an exciting new chapter for us. We appreciate you stopping by and hope to connect soon!
